I drove up to Synchronicity in Glen Arbor today to drop of my creative work for the summer season. Typically when I go on a trip, I take the most direct route home on the highway because I am notorious for getting lost. I took the back roads and boy are you all in for a treat. I got some great shots of Mid-Michigan farmland. In one of my coming posts I’ll give you some ideas for a beautiful drive.
When I went to the Butterfly exhibit at Frederik Meijer Gardens, it made me think of how wonderful children are and how important it is to take them to events like this. The children were absolutely delighted with the butterflies and it was as much fun watching their responses to all the awesome butterflies as it was to see the main attraction.
What kind of a Michigan blog would I have if I neglected to cover the Butterflies are Blooming exhibit at the Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids? This week you’ll be seeing more butterfly pics that I took here.
I took this last summer in Whitehall, Michigan. The sailboat was coming in off Lake Michigan and it was hot and sunny. Right after that I got some great photos of a dragonfly hanging out in the grass.
