Lowell is charming, and one of the things that makes it so is Ellas, an eclectic little coffee shop/bistro/cafe/neat hangout that’s charming and welcoming. During the above interview Ella came out from the kitchen to talk to me about what she does.
Ella is an experienced and highly trained chef who takes her culinary cues from her mood and the availabilities of local food sources. All food is made from scratch and patrons can count on a uniquely wonderful experience. Even the mundane is special there, for example, hot chocolate. Ella has her own special hand mixed brew that is topped with homemade marshmallows. I crave that stuff. The environment is just as charming with a casual, comfortable setting, complete with sofas, soft, cushy chairs to relax in and a strong wii fi signal. Food choices range from salads to desserts, with delicious quiche, soups, sandwiches and coffees in between.
