I’m pretty sure pets are allowed if leashed, but not positive. I’ll bet you could call the Saugatuck Chamber of Commerce to find out for sure, I’m not sure what their number is but I’ll bet it’s online.

Hi Ann,
I’m planning a girl’s roadtrip to beautiful Saugatuck next month. I’ll be travelling with my Mom, my Aunt, my girlfriend and my two well-mannered Shih-Tzu’s (ok, one of them is a boy)
From photos I’ve seen it looks like it would be quite possible to find a slice of beach away from the crowds where my pooches could be with us without upsetting others. Would you say this is likely or all-but-impossible?

Oval Beach was voted as one of the best beaches in the world? Wow I have no idea, I always thought it would be one of the Island like Hawaii, Fiji, etc. The photo is really nice. Got to check out that place one of these days. ^__^
