JJ Grey and MOFRO were described to me as an up and coming band that I had to see. Let’s put it this way, one of the first things I did when I got back from the Rothbury Music Festival was look them up online and downloaded their music. Here’s a link to their website.
Taj Mahal showed his stuff at Rothbury this weekend and made a huge fan out of me. Here’s a link with more information.
Everyone kept telling me, “You HAVE to see Sherwood Forest at night and get a picture of it.” They were right, think of huge old pine trees decorated and lit up with black lights… yes, it was incredible this is the photo I took although you really had to be there to truly appreciate it.
Trey Anastasio of Phish fame is finally back on stage. After I took this shot, Mike Gordon joined him. Trey seemed very touched by the warmth of the appreciative crowd who were elated to see him performing again. Here’s a link to Trey’s website.

John Mayer is even better in concert than he is in the recording studio. He gave a great performance at Rothbury… and yes, Jennifer Aniston was there to cheer him on.
