Here’s another picture that I took at Leslie Tassel Park in Cascade, Michigan. This was taken on a little dock that extends out into the river. Looking to the East, this is what you’ll see. From the west, is a view of the dam. More to come tomorrow.

….. this picture brings back wonderful memories…as a girl I lived at the top of the hill after crossing this bridge from the little town of Cascade…back then it was sort of four corners…Butrick’s,Zoodsma’s,Gambles, a tavern, four churches and a couple of gas stations!…the river was always a fascination…so pleased that it has been preserved!
…and thanks for the memories!

Just curious- where is this park? I googled it but can’t find it. It’s lovely and I live near Cascade and I’m a photographer so it would be nice. Great, great pictures!

Ann, I would love to use this picture on the cascade community foundation website. Is there anyway I can get a copy of the original?
