		<description><![CDATA[The Manistee North Pier lighthouse is not located at Douglas Park.  There is a lighthouse, actually two, one at &quot;stub pier&quot;, just to the left of your photo of the anchor, and the other at the end of the breakwater at Douglas Park.  The North Pier Lighthouse is located at Fifth Avenue Beach.  

By the way, some local folks are soliciting some funds to &quot;spruce up&quot; the Fifth Avenue Beach area (across the street from the Coast Guard station).  The plan is to repair/remodel the shelter house, playground equipment, etc.

Nice job on the photos.  Great art, and thoughtful vantages.
